Sweet mother of fuck.

Yeah, so, from a cinematic standpoint, it's the best movie so far this year on several counts. I'm still in such shock by how amazing it was, the best I can do is sputter out a few nitpicks. Let's just say it was mostly perfect, and point out a few problems, instead of the other way around. Some of the gunplay was contrived and dragged on, and there were an awful lot of those obnoxious "jump" scares, and the story sort of felt low on weight - although, thinking back, that might have been the point. Hell, there are so many instances where you can argue that something is or is not deliberate that this thing will split up more families than The Prestige did. Just you wait.
